First look into PlayFest 2014

As the tradition that it has become, this year PlayFest brings to us again the best music from videogames and animation to the south of Spain. This year the guests come with Spanish flavor. Are you going to miss it?

On September, between the 11th and the 14th, is the date chosen to enjoy the presence of the following composers:

Kevin Kiner (Star Wars)
Óscar Araujo (Castlevania)
Cris Velasco (God of War)
David García (Rime)
Jeremy Zuckerman (Legend of Korra)
Benjamin Winn (Avatar: The last airbender)

  • Concert

The main dish of the concert that will take place on September 14th at Sohail Castle (Fuengirola, Malaga) is without a doubt the orchestrated versions of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, also including the premiere of Star Wars Rebels. both signed by Kevin Kiner. Attendants will also enjoy themes from :

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and El Cid (Óscar Araujo)
God of War, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine and Tron: Evolution (Cris Velasco, who is also the president of honor of this festival)
Deadlight, Zack Zero and Rime (David García)
Avatar: The Last Airbender, Avatar: Legend of Korra and Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness (Jeremy Zuckermann and Benjamin Winn)

  • Activities

Besides the concert, there will be different activities such as lessons on music composition, videogame programming and animation creation, taught by the guests for everyone interested. Add to that different conferences and interviews with the composers.

Let’s not forget about the completely free projections of the best episodes of  episodios de The Clone Wars, Avatar and Legend of Korra. There will be also a projection of the videogame documentary Insert Coin, presented by David García.

It is also planned to have moments in which being in the company of the guests, during the inauguration, after concert party, signing sessions and beach soccer game after as part of the ending of the event.
