The band PENICILLIN released the single 幻想カタルシス which includes a PV under the same name. Here are all the details!
The PV, included in their new single under the same name, has been leaked and can be watched on Jpopsuki:
This new video features a very, very catchy song with an upbeat rythm. This is their usual choice; when releasing a new PV they usually choose one of the most upbeat songs. I believe it’s one of the best songs of PENICILLIN of the last few years.
The band is dressed in almost only black clothes, all covered up.
Hakuei’s outfit is specially interesting because we rarely ever see him in scarf and hat, all elegant like this. He wears leather biker gloves and his always present eyepatch. His hair is long and blond, which contrasts with the darkness of his outfit.
Chisato’s outfit is clearly influenced by H Naoto fashion; wearing studs, leather, pleather and short pants. His hair is shorter than lately, and it greatly resembles the hairstyle he rocked during the end of the 90’s, but longer.
Ojiro has super pretty auburn hair which swings with his drumming. He’s also wearing black gloves, which also look elegant.
The setting is in a beautiful church, I don’t know if it’s real or just a set up, but it is funny how it kinda reminds me of the same location used in machine’s Phantom of the End PV
The single is up for sale in three different versions as usual, available at CD Japan.
They posted a preview of all the songs from the single, 幻想カタルシス (gensou katarsis, “catharsis of illusions”), シルエット・ロマンス-PENICILLIN ver.- (shiruetto romansu, “romantic silhouette”) , 桃色吐息-PENICILLIN ver.- (Instrumental) (momoiro toiki, “peach colored sigh”) and .飾りじゃないのよ涙は-PENICILLIN ver.- (kazarijanai no yo namida wa, “tears that are not for decoration”)
