Happy Halloween! On this spooky day I bring you a review made by Enary of a classic that will give you the shivers. And not only that, but also other bands that made their own covers of this song. Which version is your favorite?
During the 90s, Malice Mizer caught our attention with their most popular vocalists: Gackt and Klaha. During their success, they brought us several songs that are nowadays considered classics. One of them is this: “Gekka no Yasoukyoku” (“The night in the moonlight”).
This is a song that with a romantic, elegant and French-like style tell us a story which is represented through the roles of every member: Mana and Közi as dolls, Yu~Ki as narrator with Kami, and Gackt as the Grim Reaper.

After a few years, some bands decided to play this song in their own style. Bands like D and Misaruka. Most covers include only the song itself, but Misaruka went even further and not only did they play the song, but also recorded a PV to it, while D only recorded the sound.

I hope you all enjoy these versions of this song that, as time went by, became a huge classic.
